How Can We Help?

Haven Recovery Center | OSFED Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder , Diabulimia and Nutrition Rehabilitation and Stabilization
Nutrition Rehabilitation and Stabilization

Under the guidance of specialized dietitians and medical providers, patients follow a structured, phased meal plan that gradually reintroduces appropriate caloric intake while monitoring for risks like refeeding syndrome.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The primary goal of PHP is to provide the clinical 'scaffold' necessary to interrupt eating disorder behaviors and stabilize physical health while allowing the individual to return home in the evenings to practice their recovery skills in a real-world environment.

Haven Recovery Center | Nutrition Rehabilitation and Stabilization, Diabulimia and Intensive Outpatient Program IOP
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

IOP serves as a crucial 'safety net' during the transition from higher levels of care, providing the necessary accountability to prevent relapse while fostering long-term autonomy.

Common Questions About Your Path to Healing

It is completely natural to have questions when considering a step toward recovery. At Haven Recovery Center, we believe that clarity is the first step toward healing. We’ve designed our programs to be as transparent as they are supportive, ensuring that you and your loved ones understand exactly how we bridge the gap between clinical excellence and compassionate care. Here are some of the most common questions we receive about our approach and specialized services.

What specific eating disorders do you treat?

We provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for a wide spectrum of eating disorders. This includes Anorexia Nervosa, Atypical Anorexia, Bulimia Nervosa, and OSFED. We also offer specialized protocols for ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), Compulsive Overeating, and the complex management of Diabulimia.

What does 'Nutrition Rehabilitation and Stabilization' involve?

This is the cornerstone of our physical recovery process. Our team works closely with you to restore nutritional balance and stabilize your body’s systems in a safe, medically monitored environment. We focus on healing your relationship with food while ensuring your body has the fuel it needs to function optimally.

What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and is it right for me?

Our IOP is designed for individuals who need structured support but are stable enough to live at home. It allows you to participate in intensive therapy and supervised meals for several hours a day, several days a week, providing a bridge between inpatient care and total independence.

How do you handle 'Atypical Anorexia' differently than other diagnoses?

We recognize that eating disorders don't have a specific 'look.' We treat Atypical Anorexia with the same clinical urgency and psychological depth as any other restrictive disorder, focusing on the severity of behaviors and the mental toll rather than just a number on a scale.

Do you offer support for Diabulimia?

Yes. We are equipped to handle the unique intersection of Type 1 Diabetes and disordered eating. Our staff coordinates closely on insulin management and blood sugar monitoring while simultaneously addressing the psychological roots of insulin restriction.

Can I still attend school or work while in treatment?

While your health is the priority, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is structured specifically to allow for more flexibility. We work with you to find a schedule that balances your recovery needs with your daily responsibilities.

How do I know when it’s time to seek help for an eating disorder?

If an eating disorder is impacting your quality of life, your thoughts, or your health, you deserve support. There is no minimum threshold for suffering at Haven Recovery. Whether you are struggling with Compulsive Overeating or a newly diagnosed case of OSFED, our circle is open to you exactly as you are.
